Terms of Service
Last updated October 22, 2026
These terms are an agreement between you and HomeTwo's operator (a Pennsylvania limited liability company is being formed; its legal name and address will appear here before public launch) ("HomeTwo", "we"). By creating an account or using the app, you agree to them. If you don't agree, don't use HomeTwo.
Who can use HomeTwo
Adult accounts are for people 18 and older. Child accounts are for kids 10 to 17, made only with a code from a parent or legal guardian, and they work only after a parent gives consent. The parent who sets up a child account agrees to these terms for the child and is responsible for the child's use.
You agree to give accurate account details, keep your password private, and tell us if you think someone else is using your account.
Your content and the record
You own what you put into HomeTwo. You give us permission to store, process, and display it to the people in your family that you and the other parent allow, and to the professionals a parent invites, only to provide the service.
HomeTwo keeps a careful record: sent messages may be locked, edits keep earlier versions, and timestamps are recorded by our servers. Verified PDFs include a verification code. HomeTwo does not decide custody, give legal advice, or guarantee that any court will accept a record.
Acceptable use
Don't use HomeTwo to harass, threaten, or stalk anyone, to share content that exploits children, to break the law, or to get into accounts or data that aren't yours. Don't try to break, overload, or reverse engineer the service. You can report a message or block someone other than your co-parent in the app. We may suspend accounts that put others at risk.
If you are in danger, call 911. HomeTwo's safety features, including SOS, are not an emergency service and do not contact 911 or the police.
Plus
HomeTwo Plus is an optional subscription, billed monthly or yearly. One subscription covers the whole family; the other parent never pays. The price, billing period, any free trial, and the renewal terms are shown next to the Subscribe button before you buy, and the store or checkout shows the final price, including any tax.
Plus renews automatically at the end of each period until you cancel. If you bought it on our website, cancel any time before the renewal date in Settings › Plan › Manage or cancel, or email support@hometwo.app. If you bought it in the App Store or Google Play, cancel in that store's subscription settings at least 24 hours before it renews. Canceling stops the next charge; Plus stays on until the end of the period you paid for. No refunds for partial periods except where the law requires them. Store purchases follow the store's refund rules.
We won't raise the price of an existing subscription without telling you at least 30 days ahead and giving you a chance to cancel first. Messages, the calendar, records, exports, and safety tools stay available on the free plan, even if a subscription ends. If Plus ends, nothing is deleted: Plus-only items become read-only and can still be exported. Promo codes give Plus for the stated number of days, have no cash value, and may expire.
Payments between parents
Payments between parents are turned off. Today you can record a payment you made outside the app; that's a record only, and HomeTwo does not move that money. If card payments are offered later, these terms will be updated first and you'll be told in the app.
Ads, the directory, and other services
Sponsor cards and directory listings are provided by third parties and are labeled. HomeTwo doesn't endorse them and isn't responsible for their services.
Court orders, subpoenas, and legal requests
We respond to valid legal process as the law requires, and we tell the affected account holders unless the law or a court order prevents it. We don't currently provide written certifications of records or witness testimony. Parents can download their own family record and verified PDFs at any time.
Copyright
If you believe content in HomeTwo infringes your copyright, email support@hometwo.app or use the Help page with the details required by 17 U.S.C. 512(c)(3). Our designated agent will be listed here once registered with the U.S. Copyright Office.
Ending your account
You can delete your account at any time in Settings › Your account. We may suspend or end accounts that break these terms. Messages and records you added to the shared family record stay available to the other parent, as described in the Privacy Policy.
Disclaimers and limits
HomeTwo is provided as is. We work to keep it available and secure but can't promise it will always be error free or uninterrupted. To the extent the law allows, HomeTwo is not liable for indirect or consequential damages, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, except where the law where you live gives you protections that can't be waived. [Venue and dispute-resolution terms to be set by counsel before public launch.]
If you got HomeTwo from the App Store
These terms are between you and HomeTwo only, not Apple. Apple is not responsible for HomeTwo or its content. Your license to use the app is limited to Apple-branded devices you own or control, as allowed by the Usage Rules in the Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions.
Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for the app. If the app fails to meet any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple, and Apple will refund the purchase price for the app (if any); to the maximum extent the law allows, Apple has no other warranty obligation. HomeTwo, not Apple, is responsible for addressing any claims relating to the app, including product liability claims, claims that the app fails to meet a legal or regulatory requirement, consumer protection and privacy claims, and claims that the app or your use of it infringes someone else's intellectual property.
You confirm you are not located in a country subject to a U.S. Government embargo or designated as a terrorist-supporting country, and you are not on any U.S. Government list of prohibited or restricted parties. You must also follow any third-party terms that apply when using the app. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms and may enforce them against you.
Changes and contact
We may update these terms. We will tell you in the app before a material change takes effect. Questions: email support@hometwo.app or use the Help page.
