Consumer Health Data Privacy Policy

Last updated November 2, 2026

This policy covers health details you choose to add to HomeTwo's info bank, such as a child's allergies, medicines, conditions, insurance, and doctors. It adds to our Privacy Policy and is written to meet Washington's My Health My Data Act and similar state laws.

What we collect

Only what you type into the Medical, Allergies, Insurance, and Doctors sections of the info bank, or upload to the vault's medical folder. A parent can also tag an item in a handoff bag list as Medicine (after giving this consent); children never see those items and drivers see them masked. We don't collect health data from devices, sensors, or other apps, and we don't infer health information from anything else you do.

Why

To show it to the people in your family you choose, so both homes have the same allergy, medicine, and insurance details. Nothing else.

Your consent

We ask for your consent before you save the first health entry, and again before you share health fields with anyone other than the other parent (for example a partner, a relative, or your child). You can stop sharing at any time.

Who receives it

The other parent in your family; anyone you share specific fields with; relatives both parents approve for medical, allergy and insurance info, after each parent gives this separate consent (either parent can turn it off at any time); a professional a parent invites (read-only); and our hosting and database providers (Vercel and Supabase), which store it encrypted for us. We never sell health data, never use it for ads or analytics, and never send it to translation or map services.

Your rights

You can see and correct health entries in Records, stop sharing them, mark an entry private, and remove entries you added (earlier versions stay in the family's record history). Private entries you added are deleted when you delete your account. To ask for access to, deletion of, or a list of who received your health data, email privacy@hometwo.app or use the Help page. We respond within 45 days, and you can appeal a decision by replying to our answer.

Security

Health entries are encrypted at rest with a separate key for each family, and access is checked on every request.
